Beyond the ordinary

At La Casa de la Cultura, We believe that our stories are not only told but lived every day. We invite you to join us in a place where arts, folklore, and traditions intertwine, bringing to life a vibrant space for learning, connection, and celebration.

About La Casa

La Casa de la Cultura opens its doors to all identities, embracing education as a bridge that connects our roots with cultures from around the world, fostering understanding and respect within our global community.

Founded in 2022 in Charlotte, NC, La Casa de la Cultura is a vibrant beacon of diversity that honors traditions, roots, and personal identity. Guided by education as a core pillar, it welcomes all cultures to create artistic spaces and activities that celebrate diversity, promote empathy, and strengthen intercultural connections. Through this mission, it enriches the local community while building stronger ties across the globe.

Learn. Share. Connect. At La Casa de la Cultura, your story is valued, your heritage is celebrated, and education unites us. Together, we shape a future rooted in understanding, respect, and unity.

MISION

At La Casa de la Cultura, we celebrate roots, traditions, and diverse cultural and folkloric expressions through art. Our mission is to provide an inclusive space where communities connect, learn, and take pride in their cultural heritage. By promoting creativity, preserving and sharing folklore, and fostering intercultural understanding and shared identity, we strengthen belonging and build a community grounded in respect, empathy, and equity.

VISION

To become a dynamic and recognized cultural center  and organization in Charlotte—with reach across other cities and states—where cultures, traditions, and folkloric expressions come together to enrich community life. We aspire to lead in preserving and promoting cultural heritage and folklore, fostering intercultural understanding, and inspiring a more inclusive, respectful, and harmonious society locally and globally.

This project stands on a firm foundation, forged by an unstoppable team: diverse, solid, and deeply passionate. Professionals, educators, and artists who not only master their craft but live it with soul, with purpose. They are the architects of invisible bridges, the sowers of ideas that bloom in every corner, the guardians of an art that is much more than a form of expression: it is a tool for transformation, belonging, and healing. Their talent is no accident; it is born of a burning vocation, a clear vision, and an unshakable commitment to change and community.

At La Casa de la Cultura, every activity is a song of resistance, unity, and love; every artistic expression is an embrace that welcomes diversity; and every community finds a refuge where its history, its voice, and its creativity are not only heard but bloom without boundaries or limits.

Because culture begins en La Casa
