"Tertulias de las Diásporas" is a flagship activity of La Casa de la Cultura. It is an open-microphone potluck gathering, where community members have the opportunity to showcase their talents. Participants in these gatherings include individuals engaged in creative writing, singing, acting, dancing, or other forms of art, whether as hobbies or hidden talents. Attendees also contribute by bringing snacks or drinks to share. These meetings typically occur once a month, creating an inclusive space for artistic expression and community engagement.

We immersed ourselves in a vibrant and crowded gathering that left an indelible mark on our hearts. It was a gathering where borders blurred and diversity became our greatest treasure.

Music filled the air with melodies that evoked memories and shared emotions, while poetry wove words that danced in our ears. Delicious food, with flavors traveling from distant corners, united us in a celebration of gastronomy and culture.

People from various nationalities came together, sharing stories and experiences that enriched our souls. Diverse artists, with their works as witnesses of their passion and creativity, inspired us with their talent and unique vision of the world.

To all the participants, we want to express our sincere gratitude. Thank you for enriching our gathering with your presence, your words, and your creations. May this gathering be just the beginning of future shared experiences, and may we continue to celebrate diversity and art in all its forms. Until we meet again!
